Competitive Advantages
Section titled “Competitive Advantages”“What can you do that nobody else can?“
1. Trilingual Service
Section titled “1. Trilingual Service”Only 2 companies in Alpes-Maritimes offer English. Zero offer Russian. We offer all three. With 25%+ international buyers in the luxury segment, this isn’t just a “nice-to-have” — it’s a competitive moat.
2. Tech Background
Section titled “2. Tech Background”Traditional electricians learn KNX as an add-on. We think natively in systems, protocols, and integration. Result: a faster learning curve, better system architecture, and the ability to diagnose complex interactions.
3. EDHEC Network
Section titled “3. EDHEC Network”~200 EDHEC alumni on the French Riviera. High-income profile, villa owners, electric vehicle drivers. An instant warm network.
4. Digital Marketing Skills
Section titled “4. Digital Marketing Skills”We build our own website, create content, manage ads, analyze data. Zero marketing outsourcing = major cost advantage in year 1.
5. Product Mindset
Section titled “5. Product Mindset”We don’t just install — we think through the end-to-end client experience. Villa audit reports, net-price proposals, post-installation follow-up, annual energy reviews — these are product features that competitors don’t offer.

Why This Will Work
Section titled “Why This Will Work”The Honest Assessment
Section titled “The Honest Assessment”What could go wrong:
- Training takes longer than expected (plan for 2-3 months of buffer)
- First-year revenue hits 50% of target (savings + safety net cover 18 months)
- Luxury market contracts during a downturn (pivot to condominiums)
- Smart home integration proves too complex solo (subcontract KNX programming)
What will go right:
- The market is growing at 35% per year (EV) and 22% per year (smart home)
- ADVENIR subsidies make our service an easy sell
- Nobody occupies our niche (integrated + trilingual + luxury)
- We have 18 months of runway before needing business income
- The learning curve is steep but time-limited (9 months of training)
Bottom line: Even if we hit only 50% of year 1 targets, the business is viable. If we hit 100%, it is highly profitable. The risk-adjusted expected outcome is clearly positive.
